We have a public folder on one of the data servers in our domain. Everyone has read access to this folder and many have write access as well. In this public folder there is also our MIS_Notes folder. The MIS_Notes Folder is accessible only by those in the Administrator group. The folder is visible to anyone who opens the public folder. It gives an “access restricted error” to anyone who is not a member of the admin group (which is a good thing!) Is there a way to hide this folder from those NOT in the admin group?
The server is running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard X64 Edition.
Thanks!
